Location – Thetford Forest, High Lodge, Brandon, IP27 0AF

Pay – £13.50 per hour (after training)

Experience – An archery GB qualification would be advantageous but is not essential. The right candidate will have the opportunity to become qualified.

Hours – Part time, weekend, school holidays, occasion term time week day

Minimum age – 16yrs+

Contract – Flexible, casual, ongoing

Transport required to High Lodge, Thetford Forest

Occasional lifts from Thetford maybe available

Set within in the heart of Thetford Forest, we offer a unique archery experience for the whole family from 5 years+

Lookout Archery provides a complete archery experience from beginners to competition archers. Experiences include, have-a-go, 60/90-minute sessions, group bookings, birthday parties, corporate & school visits.

What you’ll be doing

Meeting and greeting participants to prepare for their experience along with taking payment.

Delivering fun archery experiences to both adults & juniors 5yrs+, at our undercover range. This includes competitions, games, scoring, balloon shooting & 3d targets.

Monitoring and controlling the range, ensuring all participants are safe and conducting the sport safely.

Helping, advising, making suitable adjustments to ensure all participants have a great experience.

Caring for equipment and facilities.

Carrying out range checks, reporting and recording findings.

What you’ll need

Good time keeping with a friendly, positive attitude

Strong communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.

A genuine passion for teaching and helping others achieve their goals.

Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently.

Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in session planning and execution.
